August 30, 2023 — Idalia has been downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone as it has moved into the Sargasso Sea on September 1. Though the storm produced excessive rain from Florida to North Carolina, Gallagher Bassett did not experience service disruptions resulting from the storm. Our business continuity plan has concluded and we are operating as Business As Usual.
GB has prioritized the safety and well-being of our team members.
We have followed all protocols to ensure the safety of any employees in the path of the storm. Our well-being checks have been successfully concluded, and we remain prepared to help with lodging and other personal needs for those GB team members who may be have been impacted by the storm.
